Trauma Informed Cumbria Conference

We are excited to announce our upcoming Trauma-Informed Conference, which is scheduled to be held on the 2nd of November 2023 at Castle Green Hotel in Kendal. The conference is designed to bring together professionals from all walks of life to discuss and learn about trauma-informed practices and how they can be implemented in various settings, including voluntary sector agencies, health, education, social work, and criminal justice agencies.

Trauma is a prevalent issue that affects millions of people across the UK. It can manifest in various forms, including sexual abuse, physical violence, emotional abuse, natural disasters, war, and many more. Trauma can significantly impact an individual's mental and physical health, leading to long-lasting effects. Therefore, it is crucial for professionals to be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to address and assist those who have experienced trauma in a sensitive and compassionate manner.

The conference will feature prominent speakers from the field of trauma-informed practice, who will bring skills, knowledge, and current best practice in the field. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear key-note speakers with lived experience and participate in various workshops. The conference will also provide a platform for professionals to network and share their experiences and success stories with others in the field.

We believe that the Trauma-Informed Conference will be an enriching experience for all attendees, and we welcome your participation. Please register for the conference as soon as possible to secure your spot. We look forward to seeing you there!
